The Houze & Hugz

Khon Kaen is located in North-East Thailand near the Laos border. The city was renowned for its history and culture, but has now become more famous as one of Thailand’s fastest growing economies.

The lifestyle in the city has changed with this new image. Contour conducted in-depth research in the region to assess the residential and retail needs of local people and found a gap. In the past, families would remain living in the family home even after they had married and had their own children. Now, condos and apartments in the city are becoming a more popular option.

Contour designed a eye-catching answer to their needs in the form of The Houze and Hugz, a condominium and adjoining community mall. The design of the condominium, The Houze, pairs a modern, luxurious exterior, with a comfortable, homely interior. It is the tallest building in North-East Thailand offers spectacular views of the surrounding area.  Contour’s concept and design was so in-tune with consumer demand that was completely sold out within 4 days.

Hugz is the community mall adjoining the condominium. Contour has created an eclectic mix of tenants in the mall which focuses on cuisine and bringing a metropolitan lifestyle to Khon Kaen people.
